Wasabi's local restaurant chain brings big city style sushi to the Central Iowa food market. The big city flair appears in the color and motion changing lighting behind the bar and select seating areas. Custom lotus light fixtures define the bar eat-in area. Sushi is made at the bar right in front of patrons ensuring the highest quality of service. Stacked pebbles appear in a few locations bringing in a bit of authentic Japanese design.

Architecture and Interior Design

This project was all about lighting. Working with the lighting technician to create a flexible system to change with the seasons, mood or holiday is more than just color. We incorporated ways to gradate the lighting or add a pattern or text. This is truly customizable.
