A new childcare facility located in Grimes, located in the busy 141 corridor, is in an ideal location for commuters from the Northwest suburbs. The owner for this project had a desire to create a very fresh and modern childcare facility compared to what other options were. She also desired plentiful natural light as seen by the large and playful use of windows in the building. The building is “L” shaped to create wings for different age groups, with a large open entry / check-in at the corner and features a large gym space for indoor play. Access and security were important factors throughout the design. The owner’s husband owns a hard-scaping company and the landscape design really pulls the site together with the building to create a unique, inspiring place for children and their parents.
