Ankeny Sanitation (ASI) commissioned Imprint to design a new regional headquarters building that would contain offices, truck repair, and fabrication space to serve their current operation but would also be designed to grow with them as they expand into new markets across the State of Iowa and beyond. The 19,000 square foot maintenance facility consists of seven, 100’ long repair bays that could each hold a single semi truck or multiple straight axle vehicles. Overhead, there is a 15 ton bridge crane capable of lifting bodies, engines, and chassis to a height of 20’ above the floor. Included in the building is a full wash bay capable of both hot water and steam cleaning systems along with integrated high pressure air and oil lines serving each repair bay. The 10,800 square foot office space is broken up into departments including sales, operations, dispatch, and customer service.
